MAIDEN plus Q&A
At Stratford Picturehouse, London
Film, Media, PSHE & Citizenship
Tracy Edwards, the subject of the documentary, and director Alex Holmes will be in attendance at this event to talk about their experiences and answer questions from the audience. NB - this film is a 12A, so we do not recommend it for students under 10.
Bite Sized Ballets
At all Picturehouse cinemas
Dance, Music, Literacy, English
Brought to life by Northern Ballet’s amazing dancers, these colourful and highly entertaining films are made especially for young children and are most suitable for EYFS/KS1. All three ballets are under 60minutes and adapted from well known fairytales and are narrated by much-loved BBC presenter Anita Rani.
Autism Friendly Screenings
Autism Friendly screenings especially for SEN/ASN students
These screenings are for students on the Autism spectrum or with other learning difficulties or complex needs. During the film low lights are left on inside the auditorium and the volume of the soundtrack is reduced. It is fine for students to move around, make a noise or take a break during the film if they need to.
