Bite-Sized Ballet: Ballet for Children
Enjoy the magic of dance, music and storytelling on the big screen!
We’re delighted to have this selection of Northern Ballet’s Bite Sized Ballets at Picturehouse. These are the perfect way for your younger students to enjoy the magic of dance, music and storytelling on the big screen!

Brought to life by Northern Ballet’s amazing dancers, these colourful and highly entertaining films are made especially for children. Plus, all three ballets will have much-loved BBC presenter Anita Rani on hand to read the stories and show some of the moves from the ballets with the help of the loveable characters.

Schools' screenings are available for £4 per student - details of the productions and dates available are listed below. Screenings are available at all Picturehouse cinemas, subject to availability.

Although normally our school screenings must take place on weekday mornings, if you wish to organise a trip for a Ballet School or a Community Group on a Saturday or Sunday morning (before noon), please get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
