Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) for Secondary Schools & Colleges

We have curated a selection of foreign language films to support and enhance your KS3-5 students'  learning in French, Spanish and German, including Edexcel/AQA set text films for A-Level. You can book a screening for weekedays, 10am at your local Picturehouse Cinema, and you can also request extra time in the screen to lead a discussion with your classes (please ask at the time of booking). If you have other films titles in mind though, do ask!

Price: £4.00 per student (min 65 students) or flat £260 for smaller groups. Free for staff (1 Staff:10 Students ratio).

    Fascist regime and fairytales, this magical film, shows a little girl's escape into a another world during Franco's Spain, 1944.

  • Volver [15]. Director: Pedro Almodóvar. 2006. 121mins.
    Rich in culture, from Spain's most internationally acclaimed filmmaker (Almodóvar) and lead Actress (Penélope Cruz). After her death, a mother returns to her home town in order to fix the situations she couldn't resolve during her life.
