If you are booking for your class to attend a private film screening then why not add an introductory talk for and educational extra.

The talk will cover the history of cinema exhibition in a fun and engaging way.  The talk will give your students insight to the way the way that the experience of watching a film in the cinema has changed as well as giving a peek behind the curtain to reveal the major changes in technology that have effected film exhibition.

 

The talk will be delivered by either one of the Picturehouse Education team or a member of staff at the cinema you are attending and will last for approximately 15 min. 

 

If you would like to book for the talk before your screening then please write "+ early cinema talk" after the name of the film you are booking for when you fill out the booking request form.

This talk can be booked alongside any private hire screening and can be adapted according to the age of the class. We charge a flat fee of £60 for the talk which will be added to the final invoice for your trip.
